Teaching
Teaching should lead to an understanding of principles
Learning things and words (as fancy they may be) will not help you at all to understand how the kidney works, why the air sacks of birds are not helpful for buoyancy, or why icefish die at temperatures above 10°C even with sufficient oxygen.
Our goal is to teach you the principles of how animals work.
This may sometimes be inconvenient and require patience but once understood, you will be able to use this understanding many years later, for instance to decide how substances or interventions affect animal or human health. Understanding these principles can also be the starting point for you to join the adventure of finding out which incredible things animals can do!
